There is a complete shopping centre including supermarket, newsagent, bakery, post office etc. The R.S.L. and Motor Yacht clubs together with all the other clubs in the area always extend a welcome to visitors. Children's playground and barbeque areas are situated on the edge of the bay where children enjoy feeding the ducks. There is very easy access to all tourist areas in Hobart and Southern Tasmania.
